Now That's What I Call Reusing!

My mother is a phenomenal  "reuser".  One of my funniest childhood memories of her creative reuses:  Cutting off the waist bands of my brothers' old tighty-whities and reusing them as rubber bands to keep the lids on board games.

Now that's what I call reusing!

In my 'defense' a p.s. to the 'tighty-whitie' memory...i DID use a LOT of bleach when doing laundry... i know, i know...bad for the environment. And, what ELSE are ya gonna use to hold the lids on those huge Monopoly boxes when the covers are falling apart????? thanks for the memories--keep 'em coming!
